Ecliptic Brewing Releases Phobos & Oort

The rapid pace of seasonal and special releases shows no signs of slowing down. The good news is beer fans have plenty of options. The bad news, it's hard to chose! Look for these two new releases from Ecliptic Brewing Co.

First up is Phobos Single Hop Red Ale:

  • Description: Hopped entirely with citrusy, tropical Azacca hops, Phobos is named after the Martian moon that circles the Red Planet. Eight types of malts were used to give this beer a deep caramel flavor and a rich red color that would make Old Man Mars proud.  Malt forward, Phobos finishes creamy and smooth.
  • Beer stats:  ABV:5.6%, IBU: 34
  • Format:  22 oz. bottles and draft
  • Availability:  Now through end of March

Next is Oort Imperial Stout:

  • Description: Named after the mysterious region of our solar system that breeds comets. OORT is as black as the vacuum of space. Loads of roasted barley and chocolate malts combine with 3 types of caramel malts for a rich, full, roasty, mouth feel. Chinook, Cascade and Sterling hops lends a balanced bitterness and subtle hop flavor. This beer is thick and chewy.
  • Beer stats: ABV: 8.5%, IBU: 77
  • Format:  22 oz. bottles and draft
  • Availability:  One time run. Now until it's gone!
