Description: When we decided to brew a special Session for the holidays, we knew right away what color it had to be: Red (and full-bodied). Next, we considered what kind of head it should have. Bright white was the obvious answer. And as for the label? Gotta be green, right? So there you have it. A Session all decked out for holidays, ready to spread joy and cheer. Happy Holidays to one and all! And have a good Session. — Full Sail Brewing Co.

Random thoughts:  Full Sail's Session Fest returns for its second winter season. I'm tasting Session Fest as part of my series on winter seasonal beers

The tasting:  Amber in color, clear, with an off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma of bread, caramel, and earthy hops. Taste starts with a mild dose of spicy hops and bread. In the middle, a touch of caramel sweetness comes through, and is nicely complemented by a mild nutty flavor. Alcohol is not noticeable in aroma of flavor and hop bitterness is very low. Session Fest is light bodied and moderately carbonated. It has a crisp mouth feel and finishes with caramel and spicy hops.

4 star.  Really good! I want this again!  Winter beers tend to be higher alcohol and heavier in body. Session Fest's light body and relatively low alcohol make it an excellent choice for your holiday festivities.
