The Oregon Brewers Festival starts today! I've been looking forward to OBF and have written about the beer lineup and most popular styles, OBF facts & figures, and the Buzz beers.
Today, I address a dilemma that you may soon face... Which of the 86 beers are you going to drink? Odds are, you probably won't drink all of them. So you'll need to make some decisions. In the past, I've been absolutely baffled when staring at the sea of taps.
Don't despair. I've got suggestions for you! I've sketched out three tasting flights that cover different levels of beer enthusiasm. Be advised that I have not tasted all of these beers. You can download the complete list here if you want to print it and take it to the festival. In the downloadable list, I explain why I added each beer to the flight, show the basic stats, and provide space for you to jot tasting notes.

Maybe I'm a big Caldera homer, but for me the best IPA was the Hop Hash they made from pure lupulin.
I missed Hop Hash. I actually stayed away from the hop-heavy beers at OBF this year. I like hoppy beers, but have been exploring other styles recently.
